Web International English was established in 1998 with the aim of providing Chinese people a better and more effective way of learning English. We have since gone on to establish more than 40 centers across China.
Today, Web has become one of the biggest international English training centers in China. Each year it helps nearly 50,000 people, including government officials, employees in international companies and university students. Background of Changsha
Changsha is rich in resources because of its unique geographical location. It is located at 111.53¡¯ ¨C 114.5¡¯ east longitude and 27.51¡¯ 28.40¡¯ north longitude, situated in the east central part of Hunan, surrounding by Jiangxi, Guangdong, Hubei, Guangxi, Xichun, and Guizhou provinces, about 900 km west of Shanghai.
Being the political, economic, scientific and technological, educational, cultural and transportation center in Hunan, Changsha is quite a large place occupying land of 11,800 sq. km. With a population of 5.63 millions. Changsha is among the first group of Chinese cities which were selected as famous historical and cultural cities in the country and allowed to open-up to the outside world. Thus, it has become an important city in central China enjoying the fastest economic growth and immense vitality.
All the street signs on the main roads and scenic spots are in both Chinese and English for the convenience of foreign visitors. Changsha is also famous of its night-life, Bars, Pubs, and Discos are well-known national-wide.
A Brief Job Description
ESL Teachers at Web International English work 40 hours per week, including a total of maximum 25 teaching hours. Classes are split into three main types: Private Classes, Salon Classes and English Corners. Lesson plans for Private Classes and Salon Classes are provided by the school.
